Our pricing
The Independent Competition and Regulatory Commission (ICRC) sets ACT water and wastewater prices, with any changes taking place from 1 July. In addition to this, water and wastewater prices are adjusted each year to account for the Consumer Price Index (CPI), market factors and government charges.

How is your bill determined?
For most customers, our bills include:
- a fixed supply charge for wastewater services
- a fixed supply charge for water services, and
- a consumption charge for any water used, which is assessed on two tiers:
- tier 1 for the first 548 litres of water used on average per day, and
- tier 2 for any water usage in excess of the first 548 litres.
Because we measure your water usage quarterly (rather than daily) we assess tier 1 and 2 charges by calculating an average daily usage rate over the billing period.
