Public interest disclosures

As a Territory owned corporation, Icon Water Limited (Icon Water) complies with the Public Interest Disclosure Act 2012 (ACT) (the “PID Act”). This is part of our commitment to ensuring that people can raise genuine concerns about suspected wrongdoing in a manner that is supported and without fear of reprisal. 

Any disclosures will be managed in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Commissioner and adopted by Icon Water, including the Public Interest Dislosure (Integrity Commission – Managing Disclosures and Conducting Investigations) Guidelines 2021. Our internal procedures reflect these Guidelines (as amended from time to time). 

These set out:

  • What is disclosable conduct
  • Who can make a disclosure
  • How to make a disclosure
  • How disclosures are managed 
  • Protections for people making disclosures
