Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre Solids Handling improvement 

We own and operate the ACT’s water and wastewater infrastructure to consistently deliver water and wastewater services to a community of over 430,000 people. 

The Lower Molonglo Solids Handling Project is based on the strategic assumption that the current practice of incineration of sewage solids, grit and screenings will continue.

The Project is intended to allow an integrated approach to a staged upgrade of the solids handling system, with consideration of long-term growth projections and possible changes to the plant air emissions licence conditions.
