Contractor access to Icon Water sites
In response to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to advise that we have enacted our Business Continuity Plan (BCP), resulting in some varied circumstances across the business.
Our priority is on maintaining worker safety and essential services and as such, all non-essential employees have commenced working from home arrangements effective 19 March 2020. Essential staff required at sites are implementing strict hygiene standards and social distancing measures.
Until further notice, access to Icon Water sites is restricted to key operational persons only. Before attending any Icon Water site, please liaise with your Icon Water contact to determine if this restriction impacts the services you provide to Icon Water.
We do not anticipate any impact to standard water and wastewater services, however, it is possible that any meetings you may have scheduled with Icon Water representatives in the near future may need to be rescheduled, or conducted virtually or over the phone.
No persons that potentially have the COVID-19 virus are permitted to attend an Icon Water site. This includes people that have:
- Any flu like symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, tiredness or shortness of breath,
- Returned recently from overseas, or
- Had contact with a person confirmed as having had the COVID-19 virus.
Please ensure that you have measures in place with your staff to regularly check these factors prior to any access to an Icon Water site.
Please ensure you liaise directly with your Icon Water contact to discuss access to any site and where site access is permitted, ensure persons are prepared to implement strict hygiene protocols.
