Icon Water signs long-term Program Delivery Agreement for delivery of major projects

Icon Water announces the award of a significant long-term contract with a joint venture of Seymour Whyte and VINCI Construction Grand Projects (SWVJV) to deliver major projects. The agreement is a collaborative arrangement to support the 10-year Major Projects Delivery Program, that will invest significantly in infrastructure which is required to meet the growth of Canberra and the replacement of end-of-life assets.

The landmark contract includes a major project to design and construct a new secondary treatment process at the Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre. Under this project, Icon Water and SWVJV will be supported by design partner Beca HunterH20 to build a new membrane bioreactor to increase treatment capacity at the Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control plant, Australia’s largest inland wastewater treatment facility.
