According to Engineers Australia, women make up only 13% of the engineering workforce, highlighting the gender disparity is still prevalent in the industry. Despite these statistics, many women are thriving and excelling, driven by passion and a supportive community. Laura Fuhrman and Celia Brown are two such engineers

Laura is a senior water and wastewater process engineer with over 27 years of experience. Celia is a sewer network operations engineer, who’s been in the field for over five years.
