Application portal privacy collection notice

Your privacy is important to us. Icon Water Limited collects your personal information and handles it in accordance with our Privacy Policy available at www.iconwater.com.au/privacy.

When you sign up and use the Application Portal, Icon Water collects the personal information you provide (including in your sign up form and dealings with Icon Water) for the purposes of:

  • registering your Application Portal user account;
  • providing you with access to and use of the Application Portal;
  • managing Network Protection Compliance (Building Approval) Submission, Water Meter Requests, or other application(s) and responding to your inquiries;
  • related business purposes; or
  • any other purposes set out in our Privacy Policy. 

When you provide personal information on behalf of another person to Icon Water, you acknowledge and confirm that:

  • The relevant individual has provided their prior consent to: (a) the provision of the information to Icon Water and (b) the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information as described above.
  • Icon Water may use the information provided to carry out its services, fulfil legal obligations and communicate with the relevant individual where necessary.
  • The relevant individual is aware of the circumstances of the provision of the information to Icon Water and the terms of this Privacy Collection Notice and our Privacy Policy.
  • The relevant individual whose information you have provided has the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of their personal data at any time by contacting us.

If you do not provide Icon Water with the personal information required, Icon Water may not be able to process applications and/or deliver any or all of our services associated with the Application Portal. Icon Water may disclose your information to our related entities or other third party service providers to assist us in conducting our business, providing services to you, or as otherwise required by law. Third party service providers may be located overseas. Our Privacy Policy contains information about how you can access or correct personal information we hold about you, how you can make a privacy complaint and how we will deal with a privacy complaint.
