Monitoring Data
Icon Water undertakes regular monitoring of the water quality released from the 2 licenced discharge points to ensure that the EPA’s requirements are being met.
This monitoring occurs only when the plant is in operation. The full Data Report can be viewed and downloaded and includes the last four years of data.
Annual and Monthly Summaries are available for download below. Annual summaries cover a yearly period from the 15th of August as specified by the NSW EPA. Monthly summaries include all sampled data results collected in a month. Summaries are published 2 to 3 weeks after the end of sample collection to allow for full analysis.
Please note that Googong Water Treatment Plant does not operate continuously and Monthly Summaries only published for the periods of Plant operation.

Annual Summary Reports
Pollution Incident Response Plan
Icon Water has a Pollution Incident Response Management Plan to ensure that any pollution incident is managed, reported and communicated appropriately. Should there be an incident at the plant which could cause material harm to the environment, Icon Water will take immediate action to mitigate the harm and to manage the risk to people and the environment.
