Icon Water advises of works in Weetangera

Icon Water has sent a Maintenance Service team to identify a potential leak on Springvale Drive, Weetangera. 

The works involved isolating the main prior to excavating, which may cause temporary discolouration of water for some residents from the 15th of November into the following day. 

Analysis indicates suburbs along Belconnen Way may experience a moderate level of discolouration to downstream areas. Extent of possible discolouration might spread to south-western part of Page, south side of Scullin, south side of Higgins and Hawker shops area. 

While Icon Water will advise the ACT Fire & Rescue about the isolation, sufficient fire flows will remain available throughout the works in the areas surrounding the isolation.
